Mareval was founded by two old friends from their university days, bound by a love of sport, style, and spontaneous ideas. The spark came while we were spending our winter days on the beautiful island of Sylt, just before New Year’s Eve. It was windy, cold, and unmistakably northern Germany — and as we looked out over the empty coastline, we started daydreaming about playing padel there in the summer sun. That playful thought turned into something more. With a hint of fashion experience and a lot of ambition, the first vision of Mareval was born.
